Guests often describe our estate as a kind of quiet luxury they didn’t know they needed,  and yet the moment they arrive, something shifts. The air smells of immortelle and sea breeze. The kitchens feel warm and welcoming. The mornings begin slowly, with bread that arrives fresh at your door, still warm from the oven.

Food is a big part of life on Pag Island. Salt, sheep, olive trees, wind, stone – these elements shape the way people cook here. And when we created Plant Villas, we didn’t want to simply offer amenities. We wanted guests to taste the island in a way that feels personal, intimate, and refined.

This is why our culinary approach is different from typical villas on Pag or elsewhere in Croatia. It’s not built around menus. It’s built around moments.

Most people begin their Plant Villas experience with breakfast; either our in-house Breakfast Basket or the Michelin breakfast delivered from Boškinac. The Breakfast Basket includes something special: our own olive oil, pressed from the olive trees that grow right here on the property. It’s the same oil our team uses at home and the same one we pour over fresh bread. It’s peppery, golden, and deeply tied to this land.

Speaking of bread – we bake it in-house, and every morning it’s delivered complimentary to your villa. Wrapped in linen, perfectly simple and fresh. If you’re here in late summer, you may even spot figs on the property, sun-warmed and perfectly ripe. There’s something grounding about eating a piece of fruit that grew ten meters from your breakfast table.

Plant Villas has herbs growing throughout the property; rosemary, thyme, lavender, sage, wild botanicals. We use them in your kitchen, in your meals, and sometimes even in your villa.

One of our quiet rituals is picking lavender, drying it, and placing it in your closet – a small gesture that scents your clothing and gives every space a sense of calm.

For those seeking a special dining moment, we offer a private chef experience, working with local chefs who understand both tradition and modern technique. Whether it’s a seafood feast inspired by the Adriatic, a modern take on Pag lamb, fresh pasta with herbs from the property, or a Michelin-level tasting, we arrange it.

And the Soirée everyone talks about:

Once a week, or whenever our guests feel like it — Plant Villas hosts a Soirée. Fine wines, gentle music, small bites, cocktails, conversations that stretch out like warm evenings. Complimentary, elegant, and beautifully social.

Some guests prefer to cook or snack on their own schedule. That’s why we offer a Grocery Concierge service. You send us your list, we stock your villa precisely as you want it.

And then there’s the Maxi Bar: a curated mix of wine, champagne, gins, Pag cheese, delicacies, and everything needed for spontaneous evenings.
